Internationalen <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"http:\/\/assets20.sigaccess.org\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"assets20.sigaccess.org\" target=\"_blank\">ACM SIGACCESS-Konferenz \u00fcber Computer und Barrierefreiheit (ASSETS 2020)<\/a> teil. Aufgrund der andauernden Covid-19-Pandemie wurde ASSETS zum ersten Mal in ein virtuelles Format \u00fcberf\u00fchrt. Wir stellten <strong>zwei Publikationen<\/strong> vor, den Prototyp einer taktilen Weste mit spielerischen Elementen und die fortlaufenden Arbeiten \u00fcber barrierefreie Touchscreens f\u00fcr Taubblinde &#8211; beides entstanden aus dem <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"http:\/\/suitceyes.eu\" target=\"_blank\">SUITCEYES<\/a>-Projekt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Wir freuen uns, Ihnen mitteilen zu k\u00f6nnen, dass unsere <strong><em>Keep Your Distance<\/em><\/strong>-Demonstration w\u00e4hrend der diesj\u00e4hrigen Konferenz den <strong>&#8222;People&#8217;s Choice Award&#8220;<\/strong> des Jahres gewonnen hat. Die besondere Anerkennung wurde w\u00e4hrend der Abschlusszeremonie der Konferenz verliehen. Das System wurde f\u00fcr den Einsatz in einem Navigationsspiel entwickelt, bei dem ein taubblinder Benutzer einen Geheimagenten spielt und ein Mitspieler den Verd\u00e4chtigen gibt, dem er folgen muss. Um das Spiel zu gewinnen, sollte der Geheimagent haptischen Richtungs- und Ann\u00e4herungssignalen folgen, die um 180 Grad im H\u00fcftbereich angezeigt werden. Dabei ist ein optimaler Abstand von 1,5 Metern zum anderen Spieler einzuhalten.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5>Aktuelle Arbeit &#8211; Barrierefreie Touchscreens f\u00fcr Taubblinde<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p>Zus\u00e4tzlich zu <em>Keep Your Distance<\/em> pr\u00e4sentierte der ACI auch unsere laufenden Arbeiten zur Erforschung von Materialien, um Touchscreens f\u00fcr taubblinde Benutzer zug\u00e4nglich zu machen. Musterbasierte Bildschirmsperren sind weit verbreitet, bleiben aber f\u00fcr Benutzer mit Sehbehinderungen unzug\u00e4nglich. Die Arbeit befasste sich mit Rapid Prototyping f\u00fcr die Herstellung von zug\u00e4nglichen Mustersperren mit Materialien, die zu Hause leicht zu finden sind, wie z.B. Kartonpapier, leitf\u00e4hige Farbe und Textilien.
