Rund 400 Teilnehmende aus 39 L\u00e4ndern registrierten sich f\u00fcr das Event. 60 Expertinnen und Experten verschiedener Fachbereiche diskutierten drei Tage lang \u00fcber Taubblindheit, haptische Kommunikation und Assistenztechnologien. Gemeinsam mit den Teilnehmenden diskutierten politische Entscheidungstr\u00e4ger auch Richtlinien und Regelungen dieser Technologien. Das Symposium war eine gro\u00dfartige Gelegenheit, Vertretern der Community der Taubblinden zuzuh\u00f6ren und zuk\u00fcnftige Forschungsthemen festzulegen, die das Projekt weiterf\u00fchren. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote\"><p>Auch wenn das SUITCEYES-Projekt zu Ende geht, glauben wir, dass es viele spannende M\u00f6glichkeiten gibt, mit Gamification und haptischen Technologien f\u00fcr mehr Barrierefreiheit zu sorgen.<\/p><cite>Prof. Dr. Oliver Korn, Leiter des SUITCEYES-Konsortiummitglieds ACI an der Hochschule Offenburg<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<h2>Ergebnisse open source verf\u00fcgbar<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Mit Abschluss des Projekts bekr\u00e4ftigt das ACI sein Engagement f\u00fcr offene Wissenschaft: Alle technischen Beitr\u00e4ge, wie das Spiel &#8222;Keep Your Distance&#8220; und das Ger\u00e4t &#8222;Tactile Board&#8220;, sind als Open Source auf dem SUITCEYES GitHub Repository <a href=\"https:\/\/github.com\/Suitceyes-Project\">https:\/\/github.com\/Suitceyes-Project<\/a> verf\u00fcgbar.
