On 30 March, the Open Game & FabLab introduced itself as a central project for promoting start-ups at Offenburg University of Applied Sciences in the newly occupied rooms in the Steinbeis building. At the same time, Florian Appel and Mona Faisst, the team of the partner & office neighbour Black Forrest Innovation GmbH, also opened their doors.

More than 50 people interested in founding a company came by for a snack & talk at the first Lunch Break #1: Founding at the HSO. The OGFLab team provided information about funding opportunities for students, staff and faculty who have start-up ideas. Wolf Blochowitz gave a complementary presentation on the services and seminars offered by the Start-up Office.
The current four OGFLab participant teams present their projects. They were admitted to the OGFLab in November 2021 and have been working on their start-up ideas ever since. In the process, they will be professionally supported and appropriately equipped for one semester.

The next round of the OGFLab starts on 28 April. Those interested in founding a company can still apply until 20 April 2022.
